A BRIEF HISTORY
"Bellevue" residence of Captain McAul in 1836 and Captain C. Douglas in 1846 and surrounded with ash, beech, sycamore, larch and fir trees was leased by Waddel C. Douglas in 1863 from Mrs Jackson.
